Tuesday:

  • Take notes over plot structure
  • Create plot structure example and label parts
  • read fractured fairy tale and put the parts of the story in order on plot diagram

Wednesday:

  • Complete plot diagram from Tuesday
  • Read Chapter 5 of Freak the Mighty

Thursday:

  • Library Day

Friday:

  • Review literature terms, plot structure, and point of view
  • There will be a test next week over these things and setting

  • Plot Structure Notes
  • Read Ch. 4

Thursday:

  • Vocab words ch 5-7 (alias, deficiency, combusting, trajectory, converging)

  • Begin Study Sync Assignment

  • Watch “The Bookish Football Star” and discuss how we can relate.

Wednesday-

  • We will look at STAAR scores from last year and create goals for this year
  • Discuss the 30 book challenge.

Thursday-

  • Library Day
    • Students will check out books for the their 1st 9 weeks challenge

Friday-

  • Students will conduct a webquest to learn more about the novel we will begin next week, “Freak the Mighty”.

  • Set up StudySync (Textbook)
